How can I exclude certain files from the patching procedure?

In a megamod there are several files from different mods that cause that the installation of the components "Add high-level abilities (HLAs) to spellcasters", "Smarter Mages" and "Smarter Priests" will fail.

Two of them come from TDD, some from other mods and two apparently from BG2 itself.

How can I exclude them from the patching procedure? Is there any "exclude"- list?

I managed to install SCS v23 (incuding "smarter mages") on a full-clean (official patch only) BG2 install.

However, Improved Mind Flayers then wouldn't install.
