GemRB Font.cpp error

I just got GemRB 0.8.0.1 to work on my (Windows 7) computer. The window launches upon running and the intro cinematics play. However, once the movies end, it crashes and gives me the following error message:

 

Assertion failed: test == dbString, file C:\gemrb_source\gemrb\gemrb\core\Font.cpp, line 622

 

This happens for both my PST setup and my BG2 setup. Anyone know the fix for this error?

you are using an old version. build from the current git tip.
