TDouglas Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 I've noticed when editing a script the saved version is corrupt ... all instances of "Player1" are changed to "inanimate" for instance. I'm using Weidu 236. Attached is a copy of the area script for AR0015 (one extracted from the game via InfExp, the other via DLTCEP). I made no changes, just had the file recompiled and copied to override. Arrg ... the site won't let me upload the files Anyways, I'm running DLTCEP under wine on a 64bit system so that could be part of the problem as well. Any thoughts?
Avenger Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 If you are using the internal compiler / decompiler - switch to weidu - dltcep decompiler is untested and weidu is superior to it in almost all aspects. If you are using weidu, then this is not a dltcep problem, ask Wisp about 64 bits support.
TDouglas Posted February 14, 2014 Author Posted February 14, 2014 Many thanks, that solved it I had set the path to weidu during setup, but hadn't noticed dltcep was set to use it's internal compiler/decompiler by default.
Galactygon Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 I have the same issue except I've set the WeiDU compiler (see attached screenshot). If I compile the scripts via WeiDU installation then it works so the issue does not have to do with WeiDU.

Go to the options menu either directly in the script editor, or in setup/edit options.
