NPC talks not loading but player initated dialogue will

Hello

 

I installed BG, BG:TOSC, BGIISOA and BGII:TOB (with patch). I then installed EasyTutu. I then installed the BG1 NPC Project.

 

I recruited Ajantis, Minsc, Dynaheir, Branwen and Imoen. I have reached the Naskell Mines (after completing some side quests) but I am yet to get any banters between NPCs. No NPC has joined in during any dialogue either. I can initiate dialouge with the NPCs but they never start their own talks.

 

Does anyone have any ideas how I can solve this?

I reinstalled the NPC Project going in the hopes it would help and it has. The talks have no started. Will it work with my save game or will something terrible happen?

It depends on what went wrong the first time - if it was due some missing creature file patching, I am afraid the banters won't work in your save. If it was only due to faulty compilation of the dialogue files, it should work OK - might be that you get some dialogues one after the other at first. I guess you'd have to try it out. In case you have cheats enabled, try pressing Crtl+i for speeding up the banters and see whether everyone in your group talks now.
