vanatos
Hi, For BG2 i am wondering when the area.bcs files are being parsed by the engine. Is the active creature simply Player1? or none at all? Link to comment
Avenger
The active object for areas is the area scripting object. For scripting purposes, you can assume it as none at all. For example displaystringhead for areas would display the string at the 0.0 coordinate (because the area scripting object has no position set). Other scriptable objects, like doors, triggers, containers also don't have an active creature, but they still work well with a lot of actions. Link to comment
