ray Posted January 7, 2016 Share Posted January 7, 2016 Hello. I was trying to add a permanent ''Protection from Evil'' effect to a custom made item (DLTCEP). I added the exact same effect the Staff of the Magi and the Sensate Amulet have (Protection: from Creature Type [100]...). However, after some testing, I noticed that the ''Protection from Evil'' effect in these items is different than that of the Mage/Cleric spells. It only makes the target invisible to summoned Demons, Pit Fiends, but no AC or Saving throws bonuses against evil creatures. Link to comment
CamDawg Posted June 4, 2017 Share Posted June 4, 2017 Protection from Evil needs two opcodes to work. The aforementioned op 100 protects from summoned demons, and you need op 219 for the die roll bonuses. Link to comment
