Magus Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 I'm an avid user of Item Randomiser, and just recently I got the idea that actually there's no reason to be limited to just items. Other things could be randomised as well. Traps and locks is pretty obvious one. NPC placement probably too. Not sure what else. So I thought I'd pick the collective brain - what else could qualify? The general idea is to render useless as much metagaming knowledge as possible, killing the "game plan". That doesn't include actual rules, of course, but their application.
Fiann of the Silver Hand Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 Stores. I'd love it if store inventories could be more variable, and make me wonder if lugging around 5 suits of plate mail to sell is worth it. Just have the merchant script assign a random STO at first dialog.
Magus Posted June 7, 2016 Author Posted June 7, 2016 wonder if lugging around 5 suits of plate mail to sell is worth it How so? Do you refer to price depreciation?
Fiann of the Silver Hand Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 I mean, currently I carry it because I know where the merchants that buy armor are. If I might have to travel through several areas just to sell them, it might not be a fun investment of time.
