Guest Darkshine
Hello there, I came across this issue on my first run through the Severed Hand. I'm on the 3rd floor where you get ambushed by a bunch of skeletons and so I had my druid cast Wall of Moonlight. The spell's text says, "Evil creatures passing through the wall take 2d10 magic damage; evil undead creatures take 5d10. A creature that has passed through the wall can only take damage from it once." However when these skeletons walk through the wall I get this message, "Armored Skeleton is unaffected by Wall of Moonlight." Is this correct behavior? Shouldn't the skeletons be taking 5d10 damage? My installed mods are AB, IWD Fixpack, Improved BAM, Item Upgrade, IWD NPCs, 1pp, and widescreen. Quote Link to comment
DavidW
Skeletons and other mindless undead are usually neutral. (One could debate whether that's a good idea, but it's standard in 2nd edition AD&D and taken over into the Infinity Engine games.) Quote Link to comment
Guest Darkshine
Yeah, I see what you mean. I did some poking around in Near Infinity and most skeletons are Neutral, but others like Skeleton Warrior and Skeletal Mages are Evil. I guess this gives me a good excuse to cast Detect Evil more often Quote Link to comment
Guest Darkshine
Sorry about the spam. I was having some kind of browser error and of course I can't delete the duplicates as a guest user. Quote Link to comment
