Maps for an area

I'm making over one of the areas, and the dimensions will end up different from the original. I'm going to need the light, search and height maps for it, too, because there may not be an exact overlap with the old files. I can try to make those, but I don't know what the dimensions of the BMPs should be. The original search map is an 80x80 file, even though the area itself is more rectangular than square. That doesn't seem to matter for that file, but what size should I use for a match? It doesn't seem like there is a correlation between WED X and Y dimensions and the maps.
