I was just browsing through the chapter MOS files for IWD1 and IWD2. In both games, these files have the same resource names. It would almost be as easy as swapping one for the other or hacking the executable, but there are problems.


One slight problems is that the chapter MOS files for IWD2 are bigger than the corresponding ones for IWD1. If the dimension isn't hard-coded in the executable then this should be so bad. A bigger problem is that the games use different parts of the same named resource as the text display region. I'm not sure where these bounding boxes are specified but it's likely to be in the executable.


After everything else is underway, it might not be so hard to make new ones (preserving the text box location for IWD2).
