Domi Posted December 1, 2006 Share Posted December 1, 2006 Basically, IWD2 being a very liberal game with regards to importing and exporting the NPCs, what I want to make each NPC available at different levels. I think it will make the following easier: if a player changed his/her mind and decided to swith an NPC later in the game and if a player thinks that for the story (or difficuilty level) reasons the NPC should come at a higher level then level 0 to start with. I'm thinking to utilize the rule of 3 and have NPCs available at level 1, 3, 6, 9 and 12, thus having 5 different version of each character. I am leery of building higher level versions myself, for two reasons: I suck as a power-gamer, and secondly I'd love people who take an NPC to 'grow' to play a bit with him or her to make sure they have maximized the efficiency with each level up.
