Guest Guest_Valin_* Posted March 29, 2007 Share Posted March 29, 2007 Greetings, havent been here in awhile...havent played bg inawhile after loseing my dad...But i tried to install bg1dx8english.exe and just got erro and it leaves a tinly window one my desktop size of a regular icon...I cant/dont know how to get rid of it its just there when i try it says its being used by another program or person.Well thought id try to get it again tonight ..error now i got two of those tiny window icons i cant get rid of...anyone know how to get rid of them?.Thankyou for your time. Miloch Posted March 29, 2007 Share Posted March 29, 2007 Well it looks like you are trying to run the BG DirectX update, so you might have better luck asking this on the Bioware tech support forum or reading their FAQ on the same site. But I think it sounds like you need to shut down all programs (particularly BG itself) before running that and if that doesn't work, run it in safe mode. Link to comment
