  1. A few things: (v4.4.2)

Auras, emanations, and inspirations do not get added to the special abilities menu when you learn a new one. Instead, they appear after activating the base aura/inspiration/emanation, and then dectivating it with the 'quick weapon' harp button. (I guess this is because that button is giving back all the abilities that a bard should have). In previous versions they were immediately added, so maybe this is not intended?

The Maze Aura, on the other hand, works the opposite way: After choosing it at level up, it's in the special abilities menu (without an icon), and it works, though without the maze animation. After canceling it, it just disappears. Activating-canceling other abilities doesn't bring it back.

The Blur Aura effect doesn't match the description: instead of giving +3 to AC and +1 to saves, it gives +4 to saves. Also by the description, it should improve at mage lv 15, but after leveling up nothing changes.

There are two 'shout' spells in the bard spellbook, one lv 3, the other lv 6. The names and descriptions are identical, though the lv 6 version's icon is slightly bigger and does way more damage. I guess the 'great shout' spell needs a description update.

Finally, this is probably from Scales of Balance's Stat Bonus Overhaul (I'm using v.5.20): there is no 3d lv bonus spell for 19 charisma. I made two bards (mage/thief) with identical stats, save for one having 18 cha and the other 19, and at mage lv 10 they had identical memorization slots and casting slots; the readme says that 19 cha should give an extra 3d lv spell. The other charisma bonuses worked, at least at 19.

You are supposed to be able to learn a spell or two at 1st level

That's true, I have bless, cure light wounds and the spiritual shield thing. I thought i could choose more spells at lv 1 to add to the spellbook, but it's fine. The important thing is, it works.

Is thus different from the normal Dance ability?

Well, IIRC the limit for the shaman's summoned spirits is 3.. I played SOD only once, but i had M'khiin in party the entire time, and I don't remember a single instance with more than 3 spirits (they were dying pretty fast, though). Also, I do have the cdtweaks component 'remove summoning cap', so it's probably that. I guess it can be exploited a bit (bodyblocking an iron golem for example) but imho it doesn't make shamans op. I certainly don't mind.

I put the ‘cancel’ ability under the item abilities/backpack button

Dang, now I feel stupid 🤣 the button is there and it works.

Thank you Doc! I wish a merry Christmas to you and your family!

  3. A couple of bug reports on the shamans (v.0.79.3).

-Can't learn spells: in the spell knowledge UI i can click on spells, but the slot doesn't get filled; the memorize button is active but clicking it does nothing.  EDIT: sorry, didn't realize that at first level the shamans are not supposed to gan spells. The UI actually works when there's a spell to learn.

The shamanic dance is a bit.. weird. There doesn't seem to be a limit to the spirits summoned. I left my character for a few minutes, and then Candlekeep was overrun with more than 30 snakes, foxes, and wolves. Maybe this is intended, because is actually pretty cool 😆. The real problem is, I can't cancel the ability: once started, the special abilities button is grayed out, and no action can interrupt it. I can move around, talk to people, walk inside buildings, try to sneak, if i rest the spirits are unsummoned, but the ability remains active so I keep spawning them, and trying to attack someone has my character walk in place for a few seconds, before approaching whoever I'm attacking, stop there and do nothing.

The same happens for the detect illusion ability: can't cancel it whatsoever. This happens with all the shaman multiclasses.

It might be worth mentioning that I have the 'Klatu tweaks' component  2110:Treat all Innate Abilities as Non-Magical (Unaffected by Wild/Dead Magic and Silence)

I can simply patch the band-aid function already in the mod(s)

That was a good band aid you put there, I just installed MnG correctly, and I even manually put back the '*' into kitlist.2da before starting.

Thank you for the excellent and super fast support 🤟

P.S. There's a minor warning for Revised multiclassing and multiclass kit

#WARNING: Internal ability name too long [D5_NUMAT]. Skipping.

  5. I'm helping! 😆

Ok, just wanted to add some info; if you look here:

    Spoiler

    tempsnip.png.84cf610eee609a66559f2895ff8558f8.png

Up until this point, with Aura installed, the entries are completely blank. The '*' appear immediately after. Looking at the weiduchangelog, the next mod that affects kitlist.2da is Tome and blood, so maybe that's what is

  6. Allright, so as I've said before the missing IDs belong to two kits, ESxKit and YsKit, introduced respectively by Eilistraee's song and Yvette. I'm using all the latest versions of your mods, installing everything with Project Infinity. If it helps I attached the weidu filechangelog for kitlist.2da.

Don't know if it's relevant, but everytime i fixed this issue, the KITID entry wasn't exactly empty, there was a '*' for both the kits. Maybe this is nothing, but anything can help I guess.

    kitlist.2da-WeiDU-FileChangelog-2019-Dec-22.txt

  7. Just letting you know that the missing KITIDs issue is still present in my EET install with all the latest versions. I get:

#ERROR: cannot convert kitids_num or %kitids_num% to an integer
    #ERROR: [kitlist.2da] -> [override] Patching Failed (COPY) (Not_found)

while trying to install the feat system. Like the other times, just typing the correct IDs into kitlist.2da solves the issue.

  8. The multiclass shaman is causing my game to crash. I'm using version 0.78sd9.2 on an EET install.

I created a shaman/ranger and a shaman/thief, they have the 'initialize shamanic spellcasting' ability, i can also cast spirit ward, but after clicking on the menu (inventory, character or spellbook) the game crashes. I could open those menus prior to using the initialize ability.

If it is of any help, i put in spoiler tags the analisys of the crash dump file generated by the game:
