  1. So upon uninstalling the Dragonspear UI++ mod I can pick proficiencies for Edwin just fine. Not sure why it broke for him and no other party member but, that's not your mods fault. However, I still seem to have too many mage spell slots. Edwin is able to have 13 level 1 spells (An extra from his necklace) and when I rolled a Cleric/Mage I have 12 Arcane slots but 3 Priest slots. Unless there is something in the readme I'm missing that seems like I should only have 2-3 extra slots with my 18 intelligence.
  2. It's the bug that upon recruiting a character and going to the proficiency menu you can't increase any of the proficiencies so it soft locks up there. It was something that was happening a few versions ago.
  3. Just for additional information, when recruiting clerics/druids they didn't have that problem. But Edwin was the first mage I tried to recruit.
  4. I was using Dragonspear UI and the latest version of the EE2 which I believe is 2.6.6.
  5. When recruiting Edwin he does have the "can't pick proficiency" bug. However, interestingly if you where to use EEkeeper to give Edwin a single proficiency he then gains 32 proficiency points and so many level one spell slots that it goes off the page. I'm not sure if the two are related.
  6. I gathered and I never really expected you to do so. If anything I'm glad to have more specialized Priests kit since they were needed and this was more a say of "hey what is the ultimate goal?" There really isn't a "right answer" anymore then saying that the default is the answer (due to it being what the devs made.) As @RoyalProtector said, I rather not install either of those and in the case of some character there just isn't something for them. Like I said before, there is not specialized kit that is made in mind for Jaheira so even with NPC_EE it's not like I can give them something that I feel would suit them better then what they already have. Of course this isn't me making demands or anything, this is me finding what mods to make the more ideal version of my game and if 1 mod does what 2 or more mods do then that less I'd have to install.
  7. I really meant Companions where the kits are felt rather then every NPC. That was my mistake. And yeah I'm basically felt the same way but, this was just my musing. Really my thoughts when it comes to "NPCs that probably need kits" are more for Imoen and Jaheira then any other. Jaheira while being the only 'Fighter/druid' is kind of bland and having something makes her stand out and would be neat. Edwin just needs a Red Wizard Kit, I think other mods do this so it's not that big of deal if ToF doesn't handle it. I really think that Imoen suffers the most from this. As a Thief/Mage she at least gets more variety in BG2EE but, there are so many thieves. Personally, I think Imoen should have something that is like Thief/Mage dual class as a kit. "Arcane Trickster" or "Candlekeep Spook" whatever you want to call it, lose some thief skills gain the ability to cast spells.
  8. After reading the patch notes of "Quayle has reconsidered his flirtation with the worship of Baervan, and has reaffirmed his faith to Baravar, even though that means he no longer gets a cool new kit. Truly, the path of Baravar's faithful is a difficult one." And having a good laugh it did make me wonder if it would be possible (or even) practical to make every NPC have a kit just for them. I know other mods have done this idea, Idobek's NPC Kitpack comes to mind. I know David is busy fixing issues and has other project they are working on so I don't want to suggest something that would be to much for the scope of this project. But is that something that could be possible without too much extra work?
  9. As others have said Abazigal and Draconis are actual dragons, that said if ToF allowed you to play an actual dragon that would be awesome. That aside, while a full drow I don't think could work for the Bhaalspawn, I think Half-Drow in terms of a subrace could probably be fine. Like the PC would still have to disguise themselves as a full drow due to not looking "drow" enough.
  10. It's a known issue as mentioned in this thread
  11. I have trouble getting ToF and EET to work well together. I wouldn't use both right now until ToF gets into a more stable state and hopeful able to install without issue.
  12. Just wanted to let you know that the proficiency bug is fixed. However when I went to download the mod from the website, it redirected me to a 404 page. I was able to download it fine by going to the top Talents of Faerun github. Keep up the good work man!
  13. I just installed the beta 6, started a new game and when I went to level up Imoen I ran into the proficiencies bug once again. The only thing I had installed is ToF. Attached is the log file of all the options I took. WeiDU.log
