  1. A minor nit: the tp2 file is named item_rev.tp2 where the convention seems to suggest setup-item_rev.tp2

    No, tp2 should be named exactly like the folder where all of the mod files are: item_rev (foldername) --> item_rev.tp2. If you use setup- prefix for tp2 you can't use quick-find-by-pressing-keyboard-key.

  2. Hi Demivrgvs,

    I've notice that after many many months, SR4 still don't use HANDLE_CHARSETS function which cause all foreign languages to be useless for EE. Please add support for it before you release new version - there will be time to test it. Or can someone volunteer to make code changes? I'm also posting alpha translation files for polish language for version 4.10.

    Spell Revisions v4 Beta 10.1 Polish.zip

  3. The reason of the error is because I try to install it at BG:EE. Sorry for false report.

    BTW:

    Hello ALIENQuake, I would love to do so but sadly the G3 admins didn't contact me back after they tested my mod. It was not officially rejected but not even accepted, so I guess we are stuck with the mediafire link.

    Then please use SHSForums.net or GitHub.com (currently expecting DoS attack)

  4. ERROR: Failure("DECOMPRESS_BIFF could not find biff area090a.bif")

    Sensible Entrance Points (BG2 Tweak Pack) was not installed due to errors.

    This error is present because i didn't start the BG1/BG2 before BGT/BWS installation and I was having wrong path in baldur.ini file. I'm posting this for the other people that will encounter this.

  5. Could someone take a quick look at the "Cursed Items" and provide some feedback about are this statement is still valid:

    Right now Item Revisions and Cursed Items are not technically compatible. You either get IR items or IR items with
    some modifications and erroneous descriptions dependent of the install order
  6. I have quick question about "Comet" spell. I see this tweak/fix in Oversight mod:

    Comet is now unaffected by magic resistance and the damage it inflicts is crushing, making it no longer a weaker choice than Dragon's Breath for every situation.

    What is the status of this spell in SR?

  7. One more thing: Currently AB core components are preferred to Redrake Item and Spell fixes because Redrake overwrites content. Can you put some technical light (if you can) on the matter of installing Redrake Item Fixes and Spell Fixes (they will overwrite content) and then AB core fixes (they suppose to patch files instead overwriting them).

  8. Hey!

    Thank you for detailed explanation. As you can read in my previous post, It is all setup pretty well:

    Redrake_s_IWD_Fixpack needs AB (component 3)." (Auril's Bane Grog's IWD Fixes) and since "Auril's Bane Grog's IWD Fixes" does the same as iwdfixpack" i've changed the requirements for you mod to "Redrake_s_IWD_Fixpack needs IWD Fixpack."

    Now, I've added another condition that Item Upgrade is not compatible with Redrake Item Fixes: https://bitbucket.org/BigWorldSetup/bigworldsetup/commits/0135d09a44c35d82bd3396e339d98c2c760413db

    Ideally, all those various fixes from AD, Grog's, Redrake Fixpack should be combined to one and make compatible with Item Upgrade but you can't have everything :) But the most important part is a stability and avoid conflicts which I believe, BWS install order provides. Thanks again for you mods and work.

    P.S. Almateria recently released her "ALMATERIA'S IWD2 FIXPACK 3" ...

  9. Well, I finish IWD some days agao and find out that "Icewind Dale No-End Patch" create infinite loop with IWD End Boss. If you play through the whole game and can't kill end boss it's like "most frustrating bug ever". I'm removing "Icewind Dale No-End Patch" and "Heart of Winter No-End Patch" components from BWS for now.

  10. Hi,

    Since: " I would strongly recommend eschewing Grog's IWD Fixes component in favor of the IWD Fixpack."

    and according to current BWS IWD:

    "Redrake's IWD Fixpack needs Grogs fixes: Redrake_s_IWD_Fixpack needs AB (component 3)." (Auril's Bane Grog's IWD Fixes)

    and this implicit that none of the Redrake's IWD Fixpack components like:

    @0=Item Fixes
    @1=Spell Fixes
    @2=Creature Alignment Fixes
    @3=Thieves use Light Crossbows
    @4=Paperdoll Fixes
    @5=Expanded Spell Tables
    @6=True Dragon Icasaracht
    can't be installed, what is the point of having "Redrake's IWD Fixpack" at all ? Or maybe this condition should be changed so the rest of components can be installed without Auril's Bane Grog's IWD Fixes component, switched to equal IWD Fixpack component ?
