  1. Ah, it's just that. Not really a replacement for Level 1 NPCs, it has way less functionality. At least it has last I checked.
  2. This poster on RPG Codex mentioned that some mod has apparently supplanted Level 1 NPCs and is EET compatible? Anyone know what this mod is?
  3. So it seems L1NPC is now EE-compatible: http://gibberlings3.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=24940&p=252284 Do you have a guess as to how complex it is to make EET-compatible as well, K4thos?
  4. Pedantry aside, I seem to recall Fate Summoning messing with my L1NPC characters in the past.
  5. I was just curious. If it wasn't clear, I'm immensely grateful for just about any amount of work done on this. It's pretty much my favourite mod. Sounds like a plan. My guess is most people now a days use EET + SoD. Haven't played it myself yet mostly due to Randomiser + LVL1NPC incompatability. Will using a hypothetical L1NPC version be as simple as installing L1NPC once for the whole shebang (BG1, SoD, BG2, ToB)? Pretty cool if that's the case, though I don't know if there are snags on the way with Fate Summoning etc. Haha, do whatever man. You're a modding hero in my book either way
  6. :O AWESOME news! Thank you! Can finally play BG:EE Is an EET/SoD-version realistic at any point or very difficult?
  7. It's damned near integral to my BG-experience now
  8. Just want to say it's so awesome seeing this getting the update!
  9. I, too, think Randomiser's "set in stone" approach is vastly preferable
  10. Well, you could begin with just basic EET functionality, and maybe even keep it like that, since even playing with IWD I'm not sure people would want loot randomized across games. I know I would prefer for BG1 loot to be randomised only within BG1 and BG2 loot only within BG2 etc
  11. Wish I could help/code. I have the time to put in the work in theory, but if it requires any sort of knowledge beyond document editing, I'm shit out of luck.
  12. Damn. What are the issues? And is there any prospect of compatibility down the line?
  13. Since I'm not getting a response in the EET-thread, I'm trying here. On January 22, K4thos claimed IR compatability with EET: However - every single on of those mods is in the compatability list, except Randomiser, which appears to have been removed. Is the randomiser compatible?
  14. Hmm, I see now K4thos proclaimed Item Randomiser compatibility back in january, yet It's not in any of the liste in the OP. Anyone know whether bugs were discovered or he simply forgot to add it to the list? Or am I missing something? I've tested it with all BG:EE and IWD:EE resources inside EET override directory, including uncompressed TIS files (you can force the installer to not biff sounds and graphic resources) which means several GB of data and didn't noticed any slowdawns or load times in the game (at least in Candlekeep and Lion's Way). Anyway the first post has been updated with following entries: Alternatives Edwin Romance Generalized Biffing Haer'Dalis Romance v2.1 Imoen Friendship (SoA & ToB) Item Randomiser v7 dev release dated 160110 IWDification vBeta3 Kivan and Deheriana Companions for BG2 Mazzy Friendship (SoA & ToB) Sarevok Romance Song and Silence The Gibberlings Three Anniversary Mod Tyris Flare Viconia Friendship (SoA & ToB) W_PackMule Wheels of Prophecy Patches for those new mods that need them are now available on GitHub. Unless I missed something every single BG2:EE Gibberlings 3 mod should now work with EET. We will focus on contacting authors now to try to get as many of them internalized as possible. Every single mod on that list is included in the OP except the randomiser.
  15. Yeah, I knew about those somehow. Seems like the modding community has really done a ton of work with the EE's now. Incidentally, what about the item randomiser, are there big hurdles to make it EET compatible? With L1NPC + randomiser compatability, EET is basically a strict improvement to my old GoG install.
  16. I've been away from BG-modding for some time - am I correct in assuming 1PP has somehow been made obsolete by another mod in the time I was away? I see no mention of it in connection with EET.
  17. Hey man, take your time, I didn't mean to rush you or anything. Really wish I had the capabilities, would definetely devote time to a project like this. Good luck with your exams, mate.
  18. Erhm, and EET too.You might do best to forget the BG:EE and SoD and just move to EET first and then check later what to use from that to the others. Or NOT. It's up to you of course. Been out of the game long enough that I didn't even know about EET. Definetely seems worthwhile from a player perspective to just focus on EET and put the others aside. Of course modder gonna do what modder gonna do. How would NPC continuity in EET work with full Level1NPC functionality though? Is it as easy as just installing Level1NPC once for each character and then just use that .cre for the whole trilogy/SoD? The EEs are finally starting to look like a superior product. Once EET is polished and has full Level1NPC and SCS functionality, I'll probably say goodbye to my GoG install for good. You're doing God's work, Daak
  19. Holy shit, infinite praise from me if you do update Level1NPC to work with BG:EE and BG2:EE. That's basically the last (and biggest) barrier between me and the enjoyment of those titles.
