  1. Shameless copy/paste google translation from the OP post at arcanecoast by @tipun

    Hope you don't mind posting it here. Pretty sure there will be a lot of interest outside the Russian  language. 

    Going to install it myself soon and try to include Trials of Luremaster  and Heart of Winter modules, as well as some other BG mods if I can get them to be working together.

    STEP 1. Installing BG1EE:

    • set BG1EE + SoD ( 2.6.6.0 )

    Next in the folder with BG1EE + SoD step by step do the following:

    • download, unpack, install setup-bgeetextpackeetnames - modified p_zombie and paladin84 BG1-EET translation from prozh v1.12 with the exception of substitutions incompatible with EET and bringing names and titles in line with the BG2EE translation from Si1ver, as well as assembling the necessary fonts and an additional component for removing the Russian voice of BG1EE
    • download, unpack, install setup-sodrus - translation of SoD (0.07-v9) excluding EET-compatible substations


    STEP 2. Installing BG2EE:

    • set BG2EE ( 2.6.6.0 )

    Next in the folder with Bg2ee step by step do the following:

    • download, unpack, install setup-bg2eer - BG2EE translation from Si1ver, as well as assembling the required fonts
    • download, unpack, install setup-eet - the current version of EET 13.4 with all previously included edits, corrections and edited translation
    • download, unpack, install setup-iwd1_eet - current version of IWD1 for EET
    • download, unpack, install setup-iwd2_eet - current version of IWD2 for EET
    • download, unpack, install setup-icewind_eet - mod for switching and activating IWD1 & 2 in EET
    • *optional: install a file setup-EET_gui in the BG2EE folder ( alternative interface in the style of SoD )
    • *optional: download, unzip, install setup-pPE - Portraits Portraits Everywhere mod, adding portraits to non-acceded game characters
    • download, unpack, install setup-subrace - Subrace mod for selecting subras from IWD2 when creating a character
    • set the final closing file setup-EET_end in the BG2EE folder
  2. Finally I got your wonderful AI pack to work! It was indeed some conflicts with some other scripts I was testing, guess there were some leftover files.

    Anyways, I did a clean install and got to enjoy the mod quite a bit!

    What i noticed was that the AI can be a bit slow on casting healing spells DURING combat (even when units get really low on health). when combat ends they are pretty much right on top of it.

    Also since I do like some of my mages using staves (guess mainly for RP value and the lack of better slings) I did see mages entering melee mode. Since your still updating the mod, you think its possible to have another option so that they do attack the enemies only with spells and skip on melee and range? 

    I know the current option is there to conserve spells, which is totally fine, but perhaps an all out magic cast frenzy option could be used too, for the more serious fights.

    Just trowing out an idea! love the mod and will me part of my "must use mods" collection. awesome job mate!

  3. I found this little piece, that might very much apply for me too. I run mainly a imported character expect for Imoen and Vic.

    Figured it out, I imported the character from Black Pits II, and it's apparently a known, but not widely commented on bug. Basically, only export the character from the arena, or just after resting, otherwise they get a spell failure trait on them, that means they can't use magic/special abilities anyway. Also discovered that Default Custom AI, the very bottom option, doesn't switch weapons when I don't tell it to(Like I have a Godbow, and it changes to fists when things get close)

    however, when testing the script on these units, the B key still did not do anything

    Also, do you have spells and abilities assigned in the spell book that can be cast during pre-buffing?   Yes

    Do you have in-game ai set to on ("a" key will toggle this)?   Not that I know of

    Are there characters selected when you hit the "b" key?   Yes

    Well, as you might have seen, I still low level, but I did play around with several spells. I was also expecting to see some kind of text floater. Maybe might be nice addition to have something prompt into the dialog screen. Know a low level spell by heart that should be triggered?

  5. Took me some time the find a better AI for baldur's gates companions that I really seem to like, however it does not really work on my end.

    Granted with running the enhanced editions modded, via BG:EET, I guess I can expect some conflicts. The install went alright, no errors or such.

    The powerscript is appearing in game, however "selecting" it can be rather tedious, like it sometime doesn't want to save it in the menu.

    Pressing "B" in game does not seem to do anything. tried reinstalling several times but no luck. any clue whats going on, at my end?

    Also with the power scrip selected, I have seen some units be interrupted in their pathfinding, think I seen it being mentioned before.

    Open sourcing the project would be an awesome idea! joining forces with tipun also sounds like a win - win situation.

  8. gonna be honest, looking more forward to IWD-in-EET than the official BG3. and mind you, I AM looking forward to BG3 as im quite a fan of Larian and there previous work.

    A 2.6 patch is on the way, which should bring everything even more in line with each other.
