DavidW Posted August 11, 2007 Share Posted August 11, 2007 I'm a bit confused by that - I can't reproduce non-use-of-spells locally, though I can reproduce a problem with ogre mages getting into combat. Can you (unzip and) drop the attached file into scsII\mage, reinstall (the Smarter Mages component, at any rate) and see what difference it makes? mage.zip Link to comment

Lemernis Posted August 11, 2007 Author Share Posted August 11, 2007 Given the failed reinstall with the new file I have no idea how the smarter mage component should behave now. But I did just replay the encounter, and the ogre mage at least meleed. Perhaps he isn't scripted to cast spells? It is only the second fight in the game. Link to comment

Lemernis Posted August 12, 2007 Author Share Posted August 12, 2007 Okay, I replaced the SCS II folder with the bigfixed one in that thread, and reinstalled the Tactical and AI section. The Smarter Mages component intalled okay (as did everything else I reinstaled). Link to comment
