SentientRobot
Sorry if this question has already been asked. I'm trying to rip the sound effects from baldur's gate. I've been trying for weeks, downloaded dozens of programs, and am only now getting close. With Near Infinity I'm able to open up directories and export files, but for whatever reason when I export these files as wav's I can't play them, even though the Autoconvert wav option is selected. I also have DLTCEP, but I cannot figure out how to convert the wav's, it doesnt seem to work, where is it exporting the files? If someone can please help me convert the wav's (in the override folder for example) into a useable format, that would help alot. Sorry for being a noob. Link to comment

SentientRobot
Yeah, they do have sound sets, but its npc voices. I wanted to get things like monster sounds, sword sounds, spell sounds, etc. Link to comment

Meira
Are you sure you have the ACM converter for NearInfinity? (Scroll down to "Playing sounds and music") For copyright reasons it's not included in NI. It's called acm2wav.exe and you can google for it. Link to comment
