Strange bug with Haer'Dalis

Hello all,

 

I've just registered because I've started replaying BG1 and BG2 with a good deal of the goodies provided by G3 and BG Tutu.

Everything went fine till the quest for rescuing Haer'Dalis from the Planar Prison.

The quest is bugged because Raelis Shae and her buddies turn hostile while summoning the portal. The bounty hunter meant to steal the group through the portal of course never shows up.

 

Any idea or quick fix so that the quest can be done.

Ok, what mods do you have installed? (there is a file in your BG2 directory called WeiDU.log, open it and paste the contents)

 

What tactics are you using for the fight, using anything that might damage them like Fireball or Cloudkill?

Well, y'know, this might already be fixed by the BG2 Fixpack, also available here (I don't know - didn't check).

As a matter of fact, It did work but I don't know why and how. At one time, after having killed all the mobs comings out of the portal, I chose to put my party away from the summoning, seeing nothing of it and I just saw the dialogs triggering the Planar Sphere quest.

Weird but at last it worked.
