If you couldn't be bothered to speak with Jaheira and Khalid before finishing the Nashkell mines

and getting to chapter 3, they are gone for good. But I think this happens by having the FAI

bar, ground floor, re-created. When that happens, the bards go away too.

 

But I am really happy with the idea. Now I just have to make another trip back to Nashkell

and talk to the bards there because Xan is finding us a particularly hopeless party right now. :-)

Listing as something to look at later - have to check BGT vs Tutu and see what Chapter 3 does. The Grey Clan: In Candlelight does a swap out of FAI, too, and it works as anticipated (bards dissappear while the Inn is occupied, and reappear when the area is cleared and returns to normal).

 

Most likely "fix" is to indicate in the document that the FAI bard is only around for the first few, then you have to visit another one
