al the dumb
Hello, I was wondering if there is a method to edit biographies during a game. Just simply altering the text, nothing fancy attached to quests or anything. I promise I won't make Keldorn a Knight who says Nie. I wonder if that could be a kit? Thanks, Al Link to comment
Icendoan
I don't think so, no. However, you could use a tool such as Near Infinity to set it to what you want, but that is a hard way for fairly little gain. Icen Link to comment
jastey
You can change the biography by DO ~SetPlayerSound("C#Ajantis",@898,EXISTANCE5)~ during the game in dialogue or script, if that is what you meant. Link to comment
al the dumb
You can change the biography by DO ~SetPlayerSound("C#Ajantis",@898,EXISTANCE5)~ during the game in dialogue or script, if that is what you meant. I would not even know where and how to do that. So probably too difficult for me. Or do I type that into the Clua as the biography page is open or something? Thanks, Al Link to comment
Icendoan
No, what Jastey is saying is that that line would be run in either a game script (.BCS) or game dialogue (.DLG), and there are various tools around to help you do such a thing. By far, the most popular is WeiDU. Icen Link to comment
