The error involves these files: C:\DOCUME~1\Konrad\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERb0fa.dir00\bgmain.exe.mdmp C:\DOCUME~1\Konrad\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERb0fa.dir00\appcompat.txt Link to comment
BigRob Posted January 5, 2009 Share Posted January 5, 2009 Those look to be temporary files of some sort, and I don't think the game runs the BGmain as a temporary file usually. Are you running this on Vista? At a very rough guess, it may be related to Vista refusing to allow programs to modify files found in programs installed in the "Program Files" directory. I know I always say this, but posting the contents of your WeiDU Log will be helpful for anyone with more skill than I to perhaps identify the problem. Link to comment
cmorgan Posted January 7, 2009 Share Posted January 7, 2009 Something else is crashing BGMain.exe, and Windows uses the file "appcompat.txt" to log the problem. If you google appcompat.txt, you will find a bunch of answers; most likely there is something wrong with either video or sound when accessing BGMain.exe. Link to comment
