Andrea C.
This was originally posted here but I felt it was kinda off topic there and I'd have better chances of being answered if I gave it its own thread. Reading through the BG1 and BG2 user manuals, I found significant differences in the weapon proficiency progression that are far from limited to the Grand Mastery rank and Attacks/round criteria alone: From BG2 user manual: Rank ------------ Slots -------- Attack ------ Damage ------- Attacks/round Competente..........1...............0.............0.................1 Specializzato.......2..............+1............+2.................3/2 Maestro.............3..............+2............+2.................3/2 Maestro Av..........4..............+2............+2.................3/2 Gran Maestro........5..............+2............+3.................3/2 From BG1 user manual: Rank ------------ Slots -------- Attack ------ Damage ------- Attacks/round Competente..........1...............0.............0.................1 Specializzato.......2..............+1............+2.................3/2 Maestro.............3..............+3............+3.................3/2 Maestro Av..........4..............+3............+4.................3/2 Gran Maestro........5..............+3............+5.................2 **Ranks are expressed in italian cause I don't feel like reformatting the table for a different text length If I understand correctly, the BG2 Tweakpack only fixes the Grand Mastery portion of the proficiency progression. Is that a typo in either one of the manuals or is there a way to fix the whole progression? Link to comment

I can't say, but in the Item Revisions forum they talked about a Revised Grandmastery: http://forums.gibberlings3.net/index.php?showtopic=17307 Perhaps it helps you. Greetings Leomar Link to comment
