Guest John Posted July 23, 2009 Share Posted July 23, 2009 While installing the mod (version 2), it looked like everything was going smoothly until an error message popped up. The debug file reads: WeiDU v 20300 Log Setup-IWD2NPC.exe ERROR: Cannot perform auto-update, exiting! Sys_error("Setup-IWD2NPC.exe: Too many open files") Any idea what happened and what I can do to successfully install the mod? TIA, John Link to comment

Domi Posted July 24, 2009 Share Posted July 24, 2009 Looks like you have a newer version of WeiDU, and it updated to it. When that happens, the install shuts down and has to be restarted, as you have done. Link to comment

I did notice different version numbers but didn't give that any more thought because in the past the cmd.exe window would warn that the updated version required a restart John Link to comment

nurgles_herald Posted August 18, 2009 Share Posted August 18, 2009 Try downloading a new version of WeiDU. Make sure that IWD2 isn't open then you're installing the mod. And all that jazz. Link to comment
