What are temple donations used for?

An old, old idea for the Lands of Intrigue was to get rid of the current temple donation system and have donations as a dialogue option instead. Your first donation in each church would be 2,000 GP, then 4,000 GP, then 8,000 GP and finally 16,000 GP. For each donation you make, you'll actually be told what your hard earned cash is going to be used for.

We're going to need ideas for the various churches present in the game. In regular SoA this includes Helm (two temples in Athkatla), Ilmater (two shrines in Athkatla), Lathander (temple in Athkatla), Talos (temple in Athkatla), Umberlee (temple in Brynnlaw), Waukeen/Lliira (temples in Athkatla and Trademeet), and ToB has Waukeen/Lliira (in Saradush and Amkethran).

LoI will also be adding holy places of Helm (temple in Nashkel), Milil (abbey near Athkatla and possibly a monastery near Nashkel), Selune (temples in Athkatla and Murann) to SoA, and the trinity (shrine to Ilmater, Torm and Tyr in Ithal Pass) and Xvim (temple in Kzelter) to ToB.

As an example, here's some possibilities for the shrines of Ilmater (it can be shared between the two of them).

2,000 GP - Your donation will be used to provide the destitute with hot meals for many months.

4,000 GP - Your donation will be used to purchase a large quantity of herbs, potions and bandages to help treat the sick and injured.

8,000 GP - Your donation will be used to fund a shelter for the homeless.

16,000 GP - Your donation will be used to construct a new monastery of Ilmater on the outskirts of Athkatla.

Does it mean that there will be no more option to emergency rep increase, like it's implemented in standard donation system? Not that I've ever used it beyound BG1, but it's somehow comforting to know that I have a way just in case...
