aVENGER_(RR) Posted November 27, 2009 Share Posted November 27, 2009 It seems that the delay between invoking the CreateCreatureDoor() action and the moment at which the spawned creature actually becomes visible in-game is hardcoded. It's always set to a fixed amount of AI cycles, regardless of the duration of the Dimension Door animation (SPDIMNDR.VVC). The delay lenght is approximately 3.5 seconds at a frame rate of 30 AI cycles (default). This becomes apparent when a shorter animation for Dimension Door is used. In that case, the creature created by this action appears to spawn out of thin air, often a second or two seconds after the animation has played. The same applies for CreateCreatureObjectDoor().
