Guest laufer Posted February 11, 2010 Share Posted February 11, 2010 i need help...... i come (i gues) almost on the end of game and im remained stuck! ill try to describe.....Army KOS was going to my castle (KC) and I got the task to destroy two bridges that are in front of the castle in order to interfere with access to........after I did it, games returned me to the field in front of the castle and I am still stuck......cant enter the castle (can not communicate with the guard on the wall, says that too far), nor can go to another map (I dont have "blue circle")? i dont know what to do........im desperate! i played a long time, and now cant finish.... If someone can help me, i would be very grateful... p.s. sorry on my bad english Link to comment

berelinde Posted February 11, 2010 Share Posted February 11, 2010 Even in the unmodified game, it is not unusual for cutscenes not to begin. The engine is not very stable, so you get script misfires frequently. If you have made it all the way to the bridge battle without encountering a script misfire, you are very, very lucky. You should have a saved game right before you battled Black Garius' undead minions on the bridges. It's an autosave. Sometimes, simply reloading to that point is all that's necessary to get things working again, but I'll warn you. One time, I had to reload the fight at Old Owl well four times before the cutscene with the orcs (and Casavir's introduction) would begin. Link to comment
Domi Posted February 12, 2010 Share Posted February 12, 2010 Also, before returning to the castle, unsummon all your summoned familiars. I have someone with a similar problem, and it lead to the never fixed 'missing companion' bug. Missing companion is the most common cause of cutscene hanging because well, you simply don't have the speaker any more. Link to comment
Guest laufer Posted February 12, 2010 Share Posted February 12, 2010 first of all to thank you for your help .... i found this picture along with instructions on how to go that part, but i dont have so many escort ...... actually, i dont have no escort ...... at the beginning of the task, when i runs down the hill, i find three my soldiers who are fighting against undeath soldiers ...... when i help they to destroy them, they remain in place, and I am continuing alone ..... And another thing I noticed after reading the instructions ....... cant never deliver Tome of Ilkstatar to Aldanon ..... and when i try to talk with him, i have always offered the same (old) questions .....
