'No valid replies or links'

So I installed the G3 tweak pack, and opted aye for the 'all strongholds' option. But now when I speak to the mayor of Imnesvale, once he gives me the answer I just get the red text 'no valid replies or links', which force-ends the conversation without giving me the ranger stronghold or even the quest xp!

 

Is this a known bug? If so, is there something I can do about it? It's going to be annoying if all the quest-givers react this way!

This component has been out for years. I also used it myself on my last playthrough, and had the ranger stronghold. What does your weidu.log look like?

It's a file in your game directory that tells us what mods you have installed and in what order, you can open it with Notepad for example... so open the file and copy paste all the text into a post.
