Samia immediately does her "I wasn't expecting this plan to work" speech and goes hostile if the party has found dragon scale shield before entering the Windspear hills (her script checks for this item specifically)... Similar issue to the golems in De'Arnise keep I guess. Link to comment

(I try to err strongly on the side of caution when moving things which are plot-relevant) Odd, that didn't happen in my game, either with Samia or the de'Arnise golems. Samia appeared, gave her betrayal speech and turned hostile only when I picked up the two items from the tomb. Link to comment
