About Guest!

  1. Could you add an option to randomize SoA items into ToB and viceversa and to/from the merchants?
  2. Guest!

    Version 17

It was the last one without ToBEx, right?
  3. Guest!

    Version 19 bug reports

I haven't tested it in a clean ToB+ToBEx install, but in my game it was definitely opcode 41 which was causing the crashes. Either removing it from the spells or disabling ToBEx solved the problem. Other people have reported the issue: http://forums.gibberlings3.net/index.php?showtopic=22267 Anyway here are the .spl files: http://www.badongo.com/file/25484498

    Version 19 bug reports

Spells invoking opcode 41 lead to CTD. This isn't directly caused by SCS2 but rather by TobEx (the latest standalone version, v20, has the same issues). They are: BALTH02 BALTH12 MELSPL02 MELSPL11 Plus Kish07 if Oversight's Monk HLAs component is installed.

Monk new HLA freeze / crash the game

Yes, it's embedded. Disabling it fixes the issue (which seems to be caused by opcode 41).

    Version 19 bug reports

How can you "dispel a script", exactly?
  7. Guest!

    Corrected dispel magic behaviour

Ditto. I'm looking forward to the release.

Monk new HLA freeze / crash the game

Same thing here. At a wild guess it's related to ToBEx in SCS2.

    improved vampires drink blood ability

I'm playing with the new Improved Vampires component for the first time and I really like it. The new abilities make the fights more varied and interesting and "drink blood" is actually quite balanced. Level Drain was much stronger in comparison. The only minor drawback is that it lasts way too long. Also, a possible bug: the Courtesans in the Tankard Tree in Saradush shapeshift and hide themselves, making it impossible to talk to them to get to the Prison.

    Nevermind

    Sorry - posting mistake.
  11. Guest!

    Odd, random, frequent crashes

Okay, solved the issue by having the antivirus not check the Black Isle folder. No more crashes. Beats me why, but I'm not complaining.

    Odd, random, frequent crashes

Sorry for bringing this up again, but I've narrowed down the conflicts to two other mods: Unfinished Business and Coran. Apparently, they don't play nice with the latest versions of SCS2 (due to ToBEx, I guess). It only happens with those two. Does ToBEx hate PPG or what?
  13. Every now and then, the game crashes. There doesn't seem to be a pattern to it, or at least not one I recognize. If I restart, reload and reiterate exactly the same action during which the game crashed, everything usually works fine. It happened the first time as I was exiting the first dungeon, then a few times while I was shuffling items around from an inventory to another, now I just had a few crashes while using the console (the party was standing around in the docks, if it matters). I get an error message in the ToBEx console and a popup window with the "assertion failed in X.cpp at line Y" message. 14. Given that Giant Spiders always come in groups of three, that's not really doable. Usually, either you have a decoy (summons, etc.) to suck up the three Webs, or you're dead (case in point: random encounters with three Giant Spiders surrounding the party).
