Then make a full install the game to C:\Games\Icewind II\ , patch the game with the v2.01 patch, then run the game and make sure everything runs without problems.Then install the Widescreen mod v3.05... with 1024x602 res... The problem with this is the netbook in use supports a "max" resolution of 1024x600 which is why when applying the "1024x602" resolution the game won't even begin start when launched as explained before. It will just crash. When using "1024x600" the game at least begins to start and right before the opening video begins to play it will crash. It's not a video problem either because with the mod uninstalled the game runs fine along with all the videos so there is no codec issue or any problem there. I have a strange feeling that the mod may effect the display size of the opening videos though and might be the source of the problem for me and the others who are having the same problem.
