Grand_Dracolich Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Was deciding what I wanted for my run through BG2:EE, and had a thought. Would you be willing to split "Make the starting dungeon slightly harder" into multiple options? I love the sound of replacing goblins with Duergar, but not being able to rest more than once kind of puts me off.
bholland Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 This is one of the very few places I cheat and cheat shamelessly. It actually isn't all that bad with Ctrl-y, r, and j. I agree though. No resting is really really tough and actually impossible if you add in some of the harder options. I don't mind cheating too much when I am loving most of the modding but there are a few places I just can't do.
polytope Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Honestly I think I prefer Tactics Improved Ilyich, strange as it may sound. The SCS version of the opening dungeon is tougher but equally boring as vanilla, Improved Ilyich is a lot of things, but at least never boring...
lefti Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 First time I tried it, I had to cheat aswell. It was impossible. Second time, I soloed it with a F/M/T, no cheating. Stealth is KING with the backstabbing at the dungeon. Try to save that first rest until you really need to heal... also, make full use of everything you find. Potions, scrolls, wands.
