Basically, I turn the helmet in to Phaere, and I get 28k quest xp, but there is no quest update. In addition, if I talk to her again, I get the dialogue for if I have not turned the helmet it, something along the lines of "Without the helmet? Go back and get proof of the deed." I have tried using CLUA to add extra helmets, and I can turn in another one each time I talk to her and have one in my inventory for an additional 28k quest xp. The dialogue breaks off when he should come in with his lines. Do this - Walk up to Phaere with the helmet but do not talk to her yet - enter with console C:CreateCreature("udsola01") - Talk to Phaere now, all should go on. Link to comment

Roxanne Posted August 28, 2017 Share Posted August 28, 2017 Note @K4thos - I cannot see any relation to EET. Solaufein was in the main area (i.e., alive not chunked etc) instead of in the tavern. Hard to tell why without knowing what has gone on in the game before that. Link to comment
Fouinto Posted August 28, 2017 Share Posted August 28, 2017 It happens (on vanilla game) that you can break this quest (and lot more) if you accept the quest and leave the area before specific NPC (used when you come back to tell your success). Example : you talk to Phaere & Solaufein, the former give you a quest, and you leave the area (with boots of speed) before Solaufein leave the area himself. This can (sometimes) break some quest.
