Andyr
Whose portrait do you want to replace? The easiest way is to rename your new portrait to match the NPC's one and drop it in the Portraits or Override folder. It has to be a .BMP and the right size (38x60 for small, 110x170 for medium, and 220x330 for epilogue). You won't need any special tools. I don't have a list of file names offhand, though if you post who you want and for what game then I am sure someone will come along soon and fill you in. Link to comment
BigRob
EDIT Yeah, what Andyr said. I believe the naming convention goes N(NPC name or derivative)(S, M or L for portrait size).bmp So the name for Aerie's large portrait would be: NAerieL.bmp Link to comment
BevH
Actually, the naming convention for the NPC portraits is as follows: NAERIEL.BMP - for the large portrait NAERIES.BMP - for the small portrait NAERIEM.BMP - for the epilogue portrait Simply use the name of the NPC you're creating the new portrait for and drop it in the override folder. Andyr
There's an 8-character limit so some names are shortened, though. Like it's NJAHEIRS/M/L I believe. Link to comment
