A user reported one different behavior at the start of Irenicus' dungeon, when there is a device that spawns mephits and lightning bolts in a room nearby the starting cages. Galactygon reported that it has been fixed in 2.7. There could be others, in other traps, maybe. Quote
CamDawg Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 (edited) Everything seems fine here--the machine spits out a no-bounce lightning bolt (spwi017) which spawns a lightning mephit (meplig01) who then will zap you occasionally with no-bounce lightning bolts (spin932 or spin933). edit: to clarify, there may be lightning bolt issues that may merit a broader review, but this specific case is working as expected.
