Totsc->ToB Imported Characters

If I remember wel, BG2 puts a limit to the max XP points imported characters can have.

 

Can you tell me what the limit is ? And is there any mod that might take it off ?

Nope, as TotSC grants up to 161.000 XP max...

BG1 characters are capped to 161000XP.

BG2 characters are without restrictions.

 

161000 XP cap can be removed in bgmain.exe at offset 0x6B725C

So if I remove the BG1 Cap and end the game with 279.000XP, let's say, I keep my level and XP exactly as they are when I import my characters in BG2 ?

I have never tried this. But it is likely you do. Just try this.

One minor note: you do not remove that cap but you raise it (e.g. to 0x7fffffff).
