Guest Dreamer Sasha (Moongaze)
right now Im doing interjections 'n Im kinda wondering if its a good idea to use INTERJECT_COPY_TRANS2 all the time, instead of plain INTERJECT_COPY_TRANS. whats the difference between the two anyway? Andyr
I_C_T transfers the actions to whoever ends the dialogue state; I_C_T2 keeps them on the original person. One reason I_C_T2 was introduced was, for example, if you had a character interject into a dialogue where the original speaker EscapeArea()d or something then your NPC would instead end up doing it. Guest Dreamer Sasha (Moongaze)
yea thatd be very annoying. so its alright to use ICT2 all the time? Link to comment
Domi
No. You cannot use I_C_T2 when you insert an interjection before the character reply options that contain different actions. You also cannot use I_C_T2 before a cutscene (I_C_T works). For more details please see: http://forums.gibberlings3.net/index.php?s...c=2991&hl=I_C_T Link to comment

I think we can filter those out... You also cannot use I_C_T2 before a cutscene (I_C_T works). oohh... thanks. I didnt realize. If you open your xxx.DEBUG after installation it will list all of these cases with the WARNING different actions afte the state or something like that. Link to comment
Guest Dreamer Sasha (Moongaze)
ohh...and alter the WARNING cases to ICT instead of ICT2. thats my guess anyway. Link to comment
