how STABLE is GemRB?

i know its pre release and all but.. how stable is what we have so far? stable enough to play the game to the end?

Yeah, even if basic combat is in, projectiles are not implemented.

You would be surprised to know how much depends on projectiles: ranged combat, most spells, traps.

I'm virtually alone who works on the core engine. I get help with the graphic plugins (a new opengl plugin is on the way, it is faster than the current) and guiscripts.

Just fixed 2 crashers which caused my pst game to crash in 2 minutes each.

 

One of them was a recent bug, caused by the combat implementation.

The other was a pst only bug caused by the avatar specific inventory system pst has.

 

So, that stable :)
