As I'm sure most of you know, it looks like there will be a Dragonlance animated movie:

Lucy Lawless (she who played Xena), is going to do the voice of Goldmoon.

Wow, this brings back memories. I actually met Margaret Weis once. Some friends and I were in our hotel elevator on our way to a gaming convention (this was in Wisconsin). Several floors later, the elevator doors open and on she gets. We are looking at each other thinking "this is Margaret Weis." So we started talking with her about the DL series. Nice lady.

Dragonlance was never my favourite setting, but I'm told the sagas are well worth the read. An animated movie could be a good thing, since they might be able to spend some of the budget on good voice actors and produce a decent version.
