  1. @subtledoctor One more item I noticed in BGEE. Mod added NPCs that are Bards or Multi-class mages are not gaining bonus spell casts for high ability scores. DSotSC adds a few NPCs and I am not getting the bonuses even after resting.  I waited a bit too and no luck.

     

    EDIT: As a note, the hotfix is working fine.  I find that I get allot of spell slots to memorize, but if I only select like I am a mage, then the excess slots are removed after rest and I end up memorizing the same number as mage slots.

  2. My thought is that an Arcanist is better then a Sorcerer because of the spell switching flexibility and they can pretty much have almost all mage spells known (with a high INT). So I was thinking what they can memorize per day should be one less then a Sorcerer (Same as Sorcerer at best). No bonus memorization for high INT, just bonus casts.
    Would love a hot fix so I don't need to restart my game.

  3. I see I need to be more patient.  It takes time for things to take effect and if I do things too quickly it looks off. Like the Evermemory ring, it can take 15 seconds for the bonus to show up so at first it looked like it wasn't working (but it does work per you note of one extra spell cast only).
    The Arcanist is really cool and I am looking forward to playing him more!

  4. I installed v0.9 and am trying the Arcanist. It looks the the bonus for high abilities on an Arcanist work like the Sorcerer (Charisma). Is this correct?
    In BGEE, I did not installed the revised specially mage component. I see that I can put a pip in crossbows, but I can't equip them (I do have the needed strength for light crossbows).
     

    EDIT: One more thing. I am getting two spell casts at level 1 when I was expecting 1 cast with an 8 charisma. Is this correct?

  5. I created a Favored Soul in BGEE and find the Anticipation cantrip (I made it innate) casts and immediately ends instead of lasting the 3 rounds it says. The icon flashes on my character portrait for a fraction of a second. Of course I get no bonus to AC.

    Note: I was able to fix it using Near Infinity as there were two removes in with the give that seemed to have caused it. I'm not good at modding, but it seems to work and lasts 3 rounds after the NI edit.

  6. Question for you @Raduziel. I started a Cleric of Azuth and another of Mystra. Looking at the Faiths and Avatars book, it says Azuth should be able to cast wizard spell scrolls, while Mystra can use wizard items (wands and robes). Would it be possible to give the kits these abilities?  Giving both kits the ability to use all wizard items would be a fine compromise as it would be close to the book and allow Azuth to use robes (given his no armor restriction).

    What do you think?

    EDIT: I looked at the book again and saw that in the kit descriptions for "Magical Items" they both say use all mage items, but Mystra says except scrolls while Azuth includes scrolls.

  7. @subtledoctor thought I might need to post this here.
    The Priest of Mystra starts BGEE with a wand that cast the cantrips. In BG2EE I don't get the wand so cannot cast any cantrips. Using v79.9.2.

    Question. The Priest of Azuth Arcane weave spells, do they always cast at minimum level? (EX: Magic missile will only ever have 1 missile). It seems that haste and improved haste do more than 1 round. Is there assigned spell caster levels for each Arcane Weave spell?

    My priest of Azuth got to 5th level, but does not gain any ability to identify items per the kit description.
