    Is this still the case?

A stock (un-modded) installation will run fine from a Linux FS.  If you're going to install mods, you'll probably (will) need a filesystem that supports case-insensitive filenames (I recommend using something like JFS or an actual UNIX FS over NTFS).

A partition though can be in a file, so you don't need to actually create a separate disk partition.

  2. I get the following error trying to install Smarter Yaga-Shura (It installs with 35.10).

    ERROR: Failure("Unknown function: ADD_CRE_EFFECT")
Please make a backup of the file: WSETUP.DEBUG and look for support at: For help troubleshooting installation problems, go to the Sword Coast Stratagems forum at gibberlings3.net.
Automatically Skipping [Smarter Yaga-Shura] because of error.

  3. Yes I liked it, and it's been improved by people here since the release.

The Lich dungeon in the dwarf quest is especially solid.  Certainly better than either Windspear or Umar Hills in BG2.

There's a ridiculous amount of magical items which I feel needs to be toned down.

I mostly agree with this.  If you want to rush Nashkel at level 1 (which admittedly the game pushes you to do), then don't install Improved Kobolds.  If you want the gold and Ashideena early, don't install Improved Bassilus encounter. If you install them, plan and play accordingly.

Yeah.  Go kill some Basilisks first.  That'll get a party of 5 to level 3 easily.  Go into the mines with plenty of sleep spells and the necklace of missiles.

Thank you very much for your feedback.
I have to admit that I don't have Linux here on my computer and unfortunately have never been able to test BGGO with Linux. I had taken the directories from other mods or from the instructions.
In the next update the directory will be changed to ./tools/tileconv/unix.

No problem.  So far it's working and looking great on Linux.

You probably mean D0Tweaks, I have nothing to do with D0Quest.

I am not aware of any issues with D0Tweaks and EET, if there are any they haven't been reported to me.  However, I also do not have any reports of anyone successfully running it on EET and I do not use it myself.

Considering the nature of the mod I do not expect any specific issues with EET, but it would be nice if some people could actually test it.

While D0Tweaks installs on EET, only a few options from the whole mod are actually available when installing it.  The Goodberries and maybe one or two other items.  The gem in this mod is the summon cap/BG1-style summons and it isn't available when installing on EET.
