  1. One other thing I'd like to check on. I've seen it mentioned in another thread that sorcerers are kittable, but it just doesn't show up on the character selection screen. A possible work-around would be to set the unsability flag to the parent class (0x000400, or something like that) and the class flag to sorcerer (19), but to use another class's kitwindow to display the kit: eg use K_D_H.

     

    Also, for the K_CLASS_RACE .2da files is any editing of their innards required, or does one just need to reference them to make the kit show up in that location?

  2. I'm planning on adding this using CLAB GA_ABILITYNAME at varoius levels. Would this be appropriate, or should I use the AP_ABILITYNAME (the Kit Tutorial is a bit sparse on the construction and details of CLAB files).

     

    Also, having the spells not show up on the sorcerer/mage picklists is exactly what I want, so I assume I'll be safe with using my own spell naming scheme.

    Does this add a spell permanantly to the target's mage spellbook, innate abilites, priest spellbook? How do I determine which spellbook it is added to?

  4. I too would love to know the answer to the (yet-unanswered) question above. {If it is "No", guess which mod someone will be sticking with... :) }

     

    Also, does the party get the experience points for kills by Celestials? {sorry if this was asked before - couldn't generate a proper search query to find the answer}

     

    Like wanderer said, you will probably have best luck if you install the BPscripts after installing PnP celestials. The PnP celestials ship with their own scripts, so you may need to do some editting in NI to reassign a different script to them.

    Also the celestials are treated like any normal pet, so you get experience for their kills.

  5. I'll take a look at updating this to fix some of these bugs and to implement Polish translation over the next few days. One of the things I've been meaning to do, but have lacked the motivation is to change how the spells are patched so it is less destructive and more compatible with other mods.

  6. That would be very welcome. I hate playing a mod that is only half-done and doesn't include material to the end of the game. ToB isn't the best ending, but it is the only one the game currently has, and not having content for it makes the mod feel unfinished.

  7. I"m glad to hear that progress is continuing, ableit glacially. I've made a promise with myself to do another run through of BG2 once Delainy comes out, and hopefully there will be several other high quality newish mods out by then. I'm also praying for more cross mod banter and communication since I'd love to take a party full of mod characters, but if I do that I might as well install the TDD NPC pack.

  8. Also, Charisma isn't just physical looks. It also is about force of personality, and capability of convincing others that you are right. Take for example paladins or some of the demons. Both of these groups have have charisma, but they don't necessarily have to look beautiful. Its all about how strong their personalities are.

  9. Oversight is a mod by Kish. I'm not sure about the fatal error, but when I've been unable to delete files it almost always turns out that the file is not there and the directory is just reporting wrong. Closing and opening the directory has normally fixed that problem. However, that doesn't really have much to do with PnP Celestials. Maybe a computer guru would know more about the situation than I do.

    FAQ

    Yeah, Githzerai are often chaotic neutral, but behave about as extremely Lawful Neutral as you can get. Probably only the Modorns are more lawful from some perspectives. Its one of those things that I've always wondered what was going on when they assigned racial alignments.

  10. Just a bit more info would be appreciated to help track down your problem. Are you unable to summon a Monadic Deva or a Movanic deva? The way you spelled it above makes it a bit unclear. Just to be clear, in 99% of all planar zones (not on the prime material plane) the deva that should be summoned is the Astral Deva. For the prime material plane, it is the Movanic Deva. In two zones that are only found in certain mods (though I am planning on adding an additional zone to the list when I get around to updating this mod) you can summon the Monadic deva. So the Monadic is pretty much just an easter egg type inclusion. Most people won't even see it.

     

    As for the messed up dialogue strings, it seems that I was a bit disorganized in which particular stings I used weidu to assign and which I just trusted that my install was the original unmodded and unchangeable version (I can't figure out why I did this either... Go figure.) Hopefully I should have all those fixed in the next version, as well as some fancy weidu code that will make this mod a bit more compatible with some other mods which change similar things. As for the Planetar spouting out funny lines, it may be related to the other problems. Galatygon is the one who did the scripts, so I'll see what he knows about this.

     

    As for when I'll get these changes done, don't hold your breath. I have a huge number of things to do in real life, not the least including finishing off my final term of university, finding a post graduation job, and some little things know as an undergrad thesis. Still, stranger things have happened.

  11. Well, I'm stumped as to what is causing the problem. Unfortunately I don't have the experience to be able to spot the problem immediately and I will be without access to the computer I created the mod on for the next month or more due to work. If someone else can find and fix the problem then please go ahead. Otherwise I'll see what I can do in a month or more.
