I see, thank you for the advice, I would like to ask though, the mod Stone of Askavar which is supposed to be installed in the BGEE SoD folder before an EET installation is initiated in the BG2 Folder has a note saying that they recommend i install DotSC before i install SoA. but DotSC is supposed to be installed after i start the EET installation so it can't be installed before i install SoA. Does anyone know if this would cause any issues with my EET installation?
A full installation of EET with all the mods i want to put into it would take me a few hours and i would really like to get it right from the start so i don't have to do it all over again.
Regards

Thank you all for your advice.
Can i ask if the order of the same type of mod matters? So i can put DotsC ahead of NotSC or vice versa? Or the order of XX NPC mod would not matter while installing NPC mods?

SCS is a tweak mod, so installation should be late. Reason is that tweaks mod also tweak mod added content which can only be done if the content is already installed to the game. Please also refer to the readmes. I think SCS even wants to be installed after EET_End.
Thank you, sorry but i have another question regarding the mod EET Tweaks. It is a tweak mod but in the first of the links you posted, this mod is suggested to be installed before the quest mods. Should i follow this installation order or should i leave it for the end like the other links suggest?
Sorry for having so many questions, i am very new to messing with weidu mods and i am extremely curious as to the logic behind how the mod sequencing works.
Thank you and regards

@Ryofu the general rule of thumb is Fixpack - Questmods - NPC mods - crossmod banter packs - tweaks - EET_End - SCS.
There are other threads were people build install orders with teh help of the community. Have a look here, here, here, and also here for other install lists to compare with your mods.
Thank you very much for your advice.
Can i ask what SCS would be considered as? Should i keep installing it early or should i leave it for the end?

Hi, thanks for the great mod,
This is my first time installing it, i would like to ask,
In the description of the mod, it mentions adding IWD items into BG, would i need an installation of IWD EE for this or are they all already included in the mod?
Thank you and regards

Hi,
I decided to re-install my EET installation after finally getting to BG2 and then encountering a bug where the unseeing eye quest npc refused to appear when i first enter the temple district hopefully a brand new install would fix this.
I would like to ask if the install order of EET mods matter? I am dreading playing from the start again and encountering another game breaking event
I am currently installing my mods in this order

Is this install order okay or how should i change the install order to ensure maximum stability of my EET?
Also i would like to ask a question regarding weidu, sometimes when i run the weidu exe installation file for some mods. the installation would not fire, but when i close it and run the file again it works perfectly fine. Does anyone know why this happens? and is there any way to avoid this?
Thank you and regards

If i uninstall the part of the itempack mod that gives the smith more recipes and only leave the parts which change some items, would that allow me to not have to uninstall EET end and SCS?

Hi,
I recently reinstalled my EET installation because of an issue i met after playing all the way to BG2 where the unseeing eye cult quest giver would not spawn in the temple district. I decided to start from scratch and re-installed all my mods but i forgot to install one mod after running EET end and SCS after. If i install itempack 1.8 which tweaks a few items in the game and gives the smith in BG2 a few new recipes after running EET end and SCS would it mess up my installation? Should i delete everything and just reinstall everything from scratch? I have currently reached peldvale in BG heading to the bandit camp so i would not lose too much if i had to restart my game :(.

Hi,
I have an installation of EET with this mod installed, I would like to ask if it is okay to just download this mod then run the weidu to reinstall the mod, would this update the mod properly and would this cause any problems with my EET game? I am worried about messing with my EET as i currently have it with quite a few mods. SCS and ascension plus alot of other stuff and it took ages to get it installed correctly. I would love to update the mod but am worried that i might mess up my EET installation.
Thank you and regards

Hi all,
First of all i would like to thank all modders who helped create this work of art, this is the first time i have the mod installed and am loving the additions it adds to an otherwise very boring part of my EET playthrough.
I would like to ask if anyone knows the global variables to add into EEkeeper to initialize the romances with the npcs in the BG1NPC mod? I installed all of them but none fired up and i am already at the point of going to cloakwood, before checking the guide and realized that i did not meet the requirements to start some of the romances but would still like to experience them for the first time on my playthrough. Do Romances in BG1NPC work like how romances work in BG2EE? Because in BG2 i can initiate romances even with characters that i would normally not be able to initiate them with if i changed or added in certain variables in the global affects portion of EEkeeper.
If this is possible could i please get a list of the variables to add in all the different romances?
Thank you in advance.

Hi,
unfortunately for me, my latest installation of EET crashed horribly whenever i entered combat with the assassins in candlekeep and i am in the process of re-installing EET from scratch with a clean BG EE+ install (currently still downloading the games again from beamdog)
I would like to try and ensure i do this right from the get go this time and would like some advice regarding my install order of mods for the game
I am planning to install the following after the EET install
BG1NPC project
BG1 unfinished business
I understand these 2 mods listed above should be installed in my SoD folder before i initialize my EET install?
A7-Banter Accelerator
Afaaq The djinn companion
Almateria's restoration project
Ascension
Banter Packs
Branwen for BG2
De'Arnise Romance
EET Tweaks
Item Upgrade
NPC Flirtpacks
Pai'Na NPC
Portraits Portraits Everywhere
Romantic Encounters
Romantic Encounters for BG2
Sir Ajantis BG2
Skie the cost of one girls soul
Sword coast strategems
Thalantyr upgrades
Unusual oddities shop
Unfinished Business
Weimer's Item upgrade
Yeslick for BG2/ToB
There is also one mod that is not on the EET mod compatible list that i really want to install because it changes the greenstone amulet to become passive the itempack mod
How should i go about with my installation? Does it matter which order i install the mods in?
Your assistance is greatly appreciated
Thank you

Hi,
I have a few questions regarding installing and uninstalling mods
I finally got my EET set up with all my mods and ran the EET end application to finalize my installation then installed SCS as recommended by that mod. I then found that a mod was causing crashes and uninstalled it via it's weidu uninstall and the game runs fine now, but do i need to do anything else after this? do i need to run the EET end application again?
If i uninstalled a mod before, and then felt that i prefer it around can i just reinstall the mod via the application? do i need to do anything else after?
I installed a module in one of the tweak mods that removes the helmet animation and the restriction to protection items, but some items added by one of the item packs is not affected by these tweaks, if i uninstall the tweak modules and re install them would it then make these items adhere to the tweaks?
Thank you for your time, i just want to ensure that my install is as stable as possible as i want to keep this install for a long time
regards
