  1. im guessing SR4 rel9 is still messed up for the spell icons? for EEshould i wait for a fixed upload to install
  2. @bradinmemph the current concept of the spell doesn't really involve 2x size for various reasons. Your idea has some merit but I'm not convinced and it takes out the uniqueness of each summon imo (e.g. if you want a combo with Entangle pick ASV snakes). hey if 2Xsize isnt part of animal growth i can accept that though that does call into question naming it "animal growth" i was just going by the spell descrip"dble in size *8 weight etc....." as for ruining the uniqueness im not convinced it would do nothing other than add a abil to the 3 highest AS lvls when under animal growth so youd be talking about 2 5th lvl spells or a 6th and 6th or 7th and 5th for As v AS 6 and conj animals respectivly with Animal growth thered still be differering uses for all 3..

  4. also and this may be nothing have animal growth bespelt creatures been taken into account for the larger creatures ignore some entanglment effects per SCS? dont know if animal growth upgrades the size class of creature or not as part of its mechanics.or just gives a stat boost Grant large, flying, non-solid or similar creatures immunity to Web and Entangle under scs gameplay tweaks..
  5. i dont know how else to explain it.. using fresh DLs of the latest bgee and bg2ee when i create a mage or sorcerer in clean only spell rev modded bg/2ee the top row of first lvl spell picks seems to be messed up.. the rest of the rows and other lvls are fine like the "labels/txt offset was messed .. and its showing animal summons XXX icon labels dont know how better to describe it.. and once selected and in game they remain messed up...its just the first /top row of 1st lvl mage spells at creation/selection but they remain affected in game for sorcerer too it shows the know align icon no label shows the identify icon says true strike shows the grease icon says obscuring mist another one shows burning hands icon says animal summoning III when i do creation with unmodded bgee/2ee none of these errors occur so can only assume spell rev is throwing off text and icon offsets
  6. also when creating a mage the first few lvl one mage spell icons at the selection screen seem to be messed up burning hands icon says animal summons III one of the icons says obscuring mist but the scroll says something bout rats.. a one icon says animal summons iV a couple say nothing.. this is all top row of 1st lvl spells icons unmodded except for spell rev..release 9 same errors for sorcerer..

  8. okay so now? LOl just kidding it works looks good love the animal summons running a druid now so will play around with it for balance .. i know its tyhe most pain in butt part of process but any idea about the other Mon summs?4-9
  9. no pressure any eta on a working UL for spell rev vr 4 or a link to the prev ver? seriously not a push just seeking info.. or if its going to be a while... someone can email me or link me the previous SR4 beta*the one from before 6 days ago.. the previous version i know works..

  11. On which game are you trying to install? This is the main question, I think. bgee and bg2ee ver 1.3xxxx i have tried with clean installs and modded installs that have previously worked no problem . with the previous (older than 6 days) drop box version of SR .i suspect the issue is that i used the drop box link since i wiped my whole dir and lost the pervious SR beta v4 and dl.d a verrsion of SR 4beta that was ul'd 6 days ago.. as it hasnt been announced i suspect that was a faulty in some fashion UL.. so what i really need is a feb 9th or whatever the previous beta was or link to dl it.. sincew i know from usde that doesnt throw off install errors..
  12. no problem man it was my own silly fault id deleted the earlier v4 and didnt keep a back up look forward for new build any chance of MS4-9 or As 4-7 making it in?
  13. i did LOL anyone happen to have a working ver 4?? or a link to the release pre latest dropbox ul? was doing the clean install thing for BGee/2ee to test other stuff and musta wiped earlier ver 4 release dl'd from dropbox link a 5day old ver.. and now im getting errors

  15. i personally like the idea of true seeing triggering more often like every 3 seconds or making it a slightly lower lvl spell and then theres a gap for a new 5th/6th lvl spell that does what true seeing was orignally saw that suggested some number of comments back sorry i cant find the authour but i like the idea of either true seeing being every 2 or 3 seconds or make a spoace for a 6th lvl version that fills the role of orginal true seeing.. as for the pfmw thing firstly if the ai cant take advantage of it it becomes a big pc advantage hole asnd from a game play perspective .. its so counter intuitive build up and up a char spend time questing putting together peices and having a great magic weapon only to have to lug around some rusty iron sword for every freaking mage who cast pfmw certain equip for specialized monsters yeah mirror for medusea and baslisk.. silver for x.. etc all good but to lug around a rusty iron sword to deal with every spellcaster above lvl 13 really loses something in gameplay for me
  16. This is a very good idea, btw. Voting with both hands for it. Mantle (6) - immune to weapons, self, 4 rounds Protection From Weapons (7) - single target, X rounds, perhaps longer casting time (iirc SCS only uses it to prebuff, so it won't notice the casting time change) Improved Mantle (8) - immune to weapons and +Y save bonus, self, 4 rounds AI (9) - immune to weapons/debuffs/elements (no direct spell immunity though, let Spell Deflection still play a role), party, 4 rounds I also agree about fireshield/acid sheath. But I still think total weapon immunity for 4 rounds is too powerful for a level 6 spell. Maybe level 7... in fact you could turn PfMW (which SCS uses situationally) into a 7th-level spell, and turn Mantle (which you say SCS uses for pre-buffing) into a 6th-level Ironskin/Improved Stoneskin. Then make Mantle at 8th level (weapon immunity + whatever) and Abs. Imm. at 9th level. And I actually really like the idea of Abs. Imm. covering a group, it would finally give the spell an advantage over Timestop. votes for both of these like the idea of ab imm covering group that be cool
  17. any thoughts on giving monks at epic lvl an hla that uis a special ki abl that boost fist damage to equal to +5 weap for hit ... for x rounds.. can even be short duration.. seems with such a strong focus on unarmed.. that at epic lvls a monk should beable to hold its own.... mages have spells at epic to deal with that lvl of protection.. fighters weapons.. clerics spells.. givwe the monk s ultra high lvl ki that short term allows penetration for +4 or +5 to hit .. or make the fist +1 per 5lvls.. though a short duration high lvl KI or HLA might be better
  18. i reported it on the apropriate mods forum so others dont experience a conflict with that mod and scs

  21. using v30 scs i can not successfully install' smarter AI" bgee and bg2ee both give me the exact same error... i use very few mods.. mostly g3 and i pay attn to install order... anyways i get the "ERROR: Failure("resource [APMNKA3.spl] not found for 'COPY'") Detailed error information can be found in the file SETUP-STRATAGEMS.DEBUG . Using Language [English] " when i get to the smarter AI component and so all the stuff that need it fail/skip as well
