My weidu log is on the first page of this thread. I did upgrade to V2 part way through the game, although I hadn't visited Watcher's Keep prior to installing V2.

 

I'll have to check about the spell trigger. You are probably right about this.

Duh, sorry... I've asked you this before, haven't I? That's what happens when I try to halfheartedly bugfix during termtime.

 

I should be able to have a proper go at chasing this down shortly. Thanks for flagging it.

Make Watchers' Keep accessible between SoA and ToB doesn't seem to work as intended or to be more precise it works for everyone except CHARNAME.

 

All partymembers get moved to Watcher's Keep but CHARNAME is still stuck in AR2812.

Here it is, but there is one more thing which is probably related to my megamod: When I tried to access the worldmap I couldn't get to AR4000.

 

Moreover there is one minor problem with Xan V6. In the second level of Watchter's keep you'll meet an Imp who normally gives some hints to access the next level. Normally Xan would make an interjection but due to some conditions in GROIMP01 which would work in a normal game it doesn't work. The result is an abruptly cut-off conversation.

 

Those conditions point to his normal SoA Dialogue if one is in Chapter 7 and to his ToB Dialogue if one is in Chapter 8. Unfortunately you are still in Chapter 7 but with all ToB Dialogue files due to MoveToExpansion in cut100a and cut100b.

 

The easiest solution would be to simply do an IncrementChapter("") which would do no harm as it will be set to 8 in an OnCreation() script block in AR4000.bcs.

One other thing I found really irritating and made me turn off the full prebuffing option (I'm going with option 2 right now) is that as soon as the enemy mage is out of sight and is then seen again, they do the full rebuff. Couple this with their habit of running away from the player while not actually casting spells and it means that in a dungeon with narrow hallways and limited line of sight they'll be constantly having the pre-battle buffs applied. 3/4 of the battle seems to be to get the enemy mage to stay in the same spot and not run out of sight so they can get a full suit of pre-buffs all over again.

 

The caster statues on level 1 of watcher's keep also do this.

 

I'm still keen to pin this down, as I can't replicate it... you're using v2? And do all mages do it, or only selected ones?

This happened to me with the Cambion in the Planar Prison.
