Sir Ryan Trawl. In chapter 6 and 7, the new dialouges aren't working. I do have tortured souls installed. not sure if this is related or not. The PC response is available, but when I click on it the conversation ends. Also the end dialouge button is showing when the PC responses are available.

I'll look into it, but if you haven't _started_ the encounter until Chapter 6, it won't work storywise. Basically, it's: "Chapter 2(3) - met Ryan, became a little closer; Chapter 6 - went to confront Bodhi, had another dialogue(one before, one after)".

I encuntered some errors of missing files...

Where could i get these files?

You need a full, non-corrupt download. Go to http://gibberlings3.net/romanticencounters/ , download the latest version via a download plugin(something like Flashget from http://flashget.com/ , or use Opera/Firefox internet browsers). When your download is complete(and file size is 1948918 bytes), click on the .exe file twice and start installing. Everything should be all right then.

Does this work with Win 7? I've installed it, but I can't get ANY of the encounters to trigger. I started a new game and everything. I spent nearly 1 in-game week in the Druid Grove trying to get Cernd's encounter to trigger, after being named heros of Trademeet and nothing. Suggestions?

I never worked with Win 7. However, people reported that additional steps are needed to get any of the mods(or the game itself) to work. Try using the search here or at forums.pocketplane.net or shsforums.net.

 

That aside, check that your Weidu.log in your game directory has Romantic Encounters mentioned and installed. After that, go to Promenade and check the inns - new characters should be there.

I've gotten the game to run, no problem, as well as most of the mods I've installedm, so I guess I'll just have to do like you said and check my Weidu.log. Maybe do a re-install if it still doesn't work. Perhaps re-install everything.

I figured out what the problem was with Cernd's encounter. It was listed as installed on my Weidu.log, but the files weren't in the override folder. I copied them into the override folder and it worked perfectly. As a test, I tried it on an older comp and the same thing happened.
