Idobek
Why are the cas.*\.wav files in the package? I thought we didn't need them. Link to comment
Galactygon
It changes the casting completion sounds. It is different from the original BG2 system. Try and hear the differences yourself, and you will see. -Galactygon Link to comment
Ieldra
Can I use these files in a game by simply copying them into \override? And is the casting volume already fixed or should I fix it manually as you described? Link to comment
Galactygon
Yes, everything goes into the override. @ Casting Volumes: I did it for you. That also goes into the override. http://galactygon.blackwyrmlair.net/SNDCHANN.zip -Galactygon Link to comment
Galactygon
Here is a BAM pack that (further) beautifies the casting graphics. http://galactygon.blackwyrmlair.net/Corrected_CG.zip Note that it is strongly reccomended you have transparencies enabled, so they look perfect. You may do this by doing the following: 1.) Open up BG2Config.exe. 2.) Go to the 'Visual' section, which is under 'Gameplay'. 3.) Mark the box 'Enable Brightening' 4.) (If your Graphics card is good enough) Try to enable both mid-level and high-level brighten. 5.) Save your settings and re-open the game. If your graphics card isn't good enough, you can always disable brightening; but your animations won't look good enough. -Galactygon Link to comment
Idobek
The divation graphic is back is its original position in that latest graphic. Did you want to move it down again? Link to comment
Galactygon
I personally don't really care now. You can move it back 20 pixels down, if you are looking for the one I did originally. -Galactygon Link to comment
