Guest random n00b Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Hi, I'm a huge fan of this mod, and it's great to see it's still being worked on. I think I've run into an issue regarding the mod and Weimer's Valen, but I'm not sure what component is causing the issue exactly or, to be fair, even if it's SCSII what's causing it - I'm posting because I think it may have something to do with the general AI improvements or perhaps the improved vampires. I'm not sure if you're familiar with the mod, but the thing is, Valen uses a proprietary script to check stuff like what's she carrying (she doesn't like being given the Holy Avenger...), check her XP to upgrade her "claws", and use her vampiric abilities in combat by herself. I noticed that Valen was doing none of the above, and checked the original file in the mod directory with Near Infinity: both her "override" and "class" scripts were "VALEN.BCS". But when I opened the savegame, her override script was blanked, her class script was "DEFAULT.BCS", and the value for "default script" was "DPLAYER3.BCS". I edited that back to the values given in the original (Weimer's) CRE file, and Valen is now acting like her old self. Any idea what could have caused it? Since that's the cre added by the valen mod. Since you're versed in near infinity: Just have a quick look - is the valen.cre in override/ identical to the one in the mod directory?

SCSII didn't touch valen.cre, so I doubt the problem comes from this mod. Apparently, it was a different component from BGTTweaks - "enemy items shatter", that messed with the file... Thanks.
