Incompatibility bug in BG2 Tweaks

If BG2 Tweaks component 'Add Bags of Holding' is installed after Sword Coast Stratagems 2's 'Party's items are taken from them in Spellhold' it will produce a bug; the bag of holding sold in Sorcerous Sundries (c!bag04.itm) will contain helpful hardware that SCS 2 puts in bag04.itm (the bag found in spellhold). I don't know if this bug exists in Tutu as well.

Thanks for the report.

It looks like the bags added by Tweaks are created from existing bags that are normally empty, but there are no checks to ensure that's the case. Since this SCS II component adds items to one of these bags and other mods could very well do the same, Tweaks should probably empty out anything that might be in the new bags.

@Mike: It's better that you add in a new item, not empty an old one... don't you agree? And all the other mods should do the same...

Hmm. The Unique Containers mod might have it's own solution for this...

Tweaks creates new items from old items. It expects that the old bags are empty, so it doesn't bother to make sure that the new bags are empty. The prudent thing to do after creating the new bags is empty out anything that might be in them while leaving the old bags alone.

In SCS II's case, I think adding items to the existing bag in the game is preferable to creating a new bag, but either way, adjusting what Tweaks does (instead of what SCS II does) will prevent us from having to monitor every mod that's ever released to make sure it doesn't do the same thing.

It doesn't appear to. This issue can and should be fixed without assistance from Unique Containers, but the discussion may be relevant to the mod, since it also creates some new bags from vanilla resources (including bag04).
